Agar Questions - Fluffy cloud like Growth
    #1242252 - 01/23/03 08:59 AM (14 years, 9 months ago)

I saw these dishes when i was dreaming and the mycelium that was growing seemed fluffy and deffinietly growing outwards, but also growing upwards...

almost looks like clouds, with light/clear rhizomorphic growth at th edges.

The strain is Acadian coast....

Anyone know why I keep having these dreams?

thanks alot

Ahh i see

so basically youd want to isolate the strongest traits of growth and drop em on an new plate...

eventually once the strain exhibits strong growth can you then innoculate with a wedge from a plate?

I also have read that the strain will get used to the agar and you should change up..... is this neccesary?

cool beanz

thanks man
