Actually, the bible is very clear on what it takes to go to eternal bliss.

There's nothing you can do.
There's nothing any of us can do. Not good deeds, nor good works will gaurentee us a spot in His Kingdom.

The price has been paid.
Make sure you thank the Man who paid the price when you enter His Kingdom.

Actually, there are many more like my wife and I.

Many conservatives today are advocating an end to the 'War on Drugs'.

William F Buckley, Larry Elders, and Neal Boortz, among many others.

Many are Christens. Some of them even admit to using drugs once and awhile.

What bothers me is exactly what you wrote--this stereotype.
When conservative Christens have a stereo type, most people label it prejudice and racist. When others have a stereo type--it's merely a stereo type.

My point is that both are destructive and detrimental to society. But one is politically correct--and the other isn't.

In our Church, the Pastor isn't the leader of the Church, the Lay Leader is.

And guess who that is?

Yup, it's me. I'm the Lay Leader. I'm the leader of my church.

The problem is that many people have misconceptions about drugs. They'll take drugs to mend their arteries, their heart valves and their kidneys--but they refuse to believe that there are drugs that mend your outlook on life--or your attitude, or your spiritual well being.

I've found the people in this forum to be believers in a faith that it's ok to enjoy the pleasures that Earth offers all of us. They believe perception should be challenged, and that speaking out in their faith in a forum, such as this, they can commune with others of like-mindedness. I also witness their frustration with others who won't believe what they're saying, mock them as simple minded and ignorant, and confuse their beliefs with the small minority who abuse their beliefs.

As a Christen, I can certainly relate to that!!
