but never ANY mention of the much worse human-rights violations in Syria, now why is that?

I really don't know, but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Syria doesn't have the oil deposits that Iraq has.

I'm sure all those monarchies before democracy were stable as well, but does that mean they were good?

The US backed a failed coup in Venezuela in April (I could be mistaken) of 2002.  The US, along with the rich in Venezuela,  wants Chavez out of power because Chavez is trying to nationalize the Oil Industry (again, I could be wrong on this, but if my memory serves me correct, I think that is the current situation in Venezuela).

Please, please correct me if I am at fault.

You are right, but a coupe is different from an all out war.

Exactly my point.

And there is no proof that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction. But they did 10 years ago, why wouldn't they now?

But they did 10 years ago, why wouldn't they now?

Because we stopped selling them to Saddam? If we arn't providing him with them where is he going to get them from?

Most weapons of mass destruction, whether chemical or biological have a shelf-life. You cannot store them for 10 years without them becoming utterly useless.
