first time grower. which strain of cubes should be relatively easy for me? thinking b+ or creeper. thanks!

B+ is a very good strain for a beginner, and, is considered by many to be one of the easiest to grow. But my favorite strain that would be considered a "beginner" strain would be the Thailand-Koh Samuis.(The Hawks Eye) They colonize EXTREMELY vigorously and are fairly contaminant resistant.

Put a bunch of papers with diffrent strain on them and shake them up in a bag... pick one and go with luck. Besides that newbies always seem to start with B+

so, from the replies...i gather that the properties a newby would desire in a strain would be fast colonization and contam resistence. what about abhorts and such? thanks so much, didnt expect so many replies.

if it makes any difference, i was wanting to use these spores in a mycobag. so far it seems to be a toss between creeper, KS, and B+

Go with Thai ks they colonize and fruit much quicker than B+... Plus there an easier strain to deal with imo...

i never would have know this had i not asked...jeepers, mr. wilson. so i guess its between KS and creeper now. ive heard really good stuff about creeper. i never knew KS was such an easy to deal with strain. if creeper is a fast colonizer, does it fruit fast too...many abhorts? thanks guys. you rock.

abhorts aren't really a strain issue so much as an is there water dripping on your pins and are you getting the CO2 out of there issue.
