Bored so I tried it
    #1239213 - 01/22/03 10:31 AM (14 years, 4 months ago)

I was taking a cake out of a jar and the top ripped off so instead of tossing it which was my first impulse I birthed the 1/4th of a cake alone to see how big a shroom would grow off of such a small amount of substrate. I birthed it into a 2 liter pop bottle with perlite in the bottom and allowed it to pin. 6 pins formed but the one on top was growing the fastest so I took the others off and let it go.

It grew much larger than the mushrooms on the full cakes I birthed at the same time. I guess it got bigger because the mycellium had nothing else to put it's energies towards. I'm gonna try some more cakes and leave only 4 or 5 pins to keep growing and pick off the rest just to see what happens.

Here's the end product (shitty pic but u get the idea)

Like I said I was bored.

The cap on it was about 2 1/2 inches and it was close to 11 inches high. I didn't bother to weight it wet but I will tell you what it is dry (printing it right now)

The rest of the cake had about 10 mushrooms with the largest bieng 6 inches but the majority of them being less than 4 inches.

That kicks ass

When someone asks me to describe an experience of LSD and I must use that adjective, I try to explain: "Well?say one has a pie of many pieces and each is of a different flavor?someone asks you what kind of a pie it is. Because of the nature of speech, you can only speak of one flavor at a time. To give a list of the flavors doesn't capture the essence of the pie, which can be said only if you could say all the different pieces at once."

This was my first attempt with F+ that's why i did it on cakes so I was sure to get prints. So far I'm very impressed with the speed and size. If the potency is good I think I have a new favorite
