I got these protruding white fluffy balls all over my cakes. first i thought maybe it fell in some perlite. It kind of looks like it so i touched it. it was squishy.

hey! i know this thread is pretty old but i'm just wondering what the outcome was if you can remember?!

My first batch of cakes look very similar at the moment so I was just wondering if i'm in for a long wait or if i should expect fruits fairly soon!

ah yeh I already knew they were normal, was just wondering how long this dude had to wait from the time he took this photo till when the juicy mushrooms arrived as my cakes look exactly the same at the moment!

About 2 weeks to harvest, maybe more, maybe less.

Unfortunately, my penchant for shrooms developed after the ban, so no :P

Also, I lived in Sheffield at the time (moved, but still Yorkshire now :crazy2:)

just looked on your grow log, i first started out with a mycomate growbag but it got mouldy before I even innocculated it as did the replacement they sent! Wish i'd never wasted my money when BRF jars are so easy to knock up!

Anyways, i'm rambling, thanks for the clarification on myc balls!
