I was too high and groggy to pick a particular person to quote.

The reason I am Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Perceiving, is because I fit the basic stereotype of a Cancer.

If you'd like to go google the two and compare their descriptions, feel free.

Those two propositions might be correlated but I don't think there's a cause and effect relationship there.

Right, there's obviously a personal assumption going here. That's how I feel about my being a cancer and my being an INFP; I've also been known to group other completely unrelated things in my life so that they'll make more sense to me. /shrug

Even beyond that, not all cancers fit the same profile. Those not born on the 9th at 4am like me wouldn't necessarily share the same attributes.

It would be interesting to see the distribution of astrological signs here and see if there are any types that are more prevalent.

I have no idea how to use the poll feature. Throw one up as an adjunct to this thread?

Ha INFP, I've always wanted to do something related to the bettering of others, it says im a healer, and that is definitely what I would label myself as, seeing as how i have a drive to become a fully fledged shaman in the next 30 to 40 years...cant wait to get the opportunity to leave this horrible "civilized" place and its technologies, and then come back and blow a hole in the face of america! (a good feeling and overwhelmingly good hole though, lol)

I am a mycologist, meaning I STUDY mushrooms, It is a 100% fun, mentally stimulating, and legal practice

Some DO grow psilocybin mushrooms, either in a place where it is legal or not, and they may have questions that I may be able to help answer, the shroomery is dedicated to furthering knowledge of ALL fungus, and I am here to help others

Any statement of mine indicating Illegal or immoral use of this knowledge is theoretical and given out for the furthering of knowledge of ALL Mycologists/Enthusiasts worldwide!

I think it was Markos who told me that you can never "change" your personality type.

A menstruating woman would take this test and score differently, I would imagine, due to hormonal fluctuations and other biochemical manifestations of bitchiness.

Well I don't mean just answering the question differently. I mean I think people can undergo experiences that actually, permanently change their personality. Drugs would be a good example of how this could happen to someone.

Not according to Jungian theory, or the MBTI upon which it's based. Also, the Kiersey.com test is not the MBTI, as I come out as an INTJ, which I am decidedly not. My Lady and I are both INTPs, and we have been studying the MBTI for close to 30 years. I hand-scored 1000 MBTIs as part of my graduate assistantship under a Jungian analyst, and my Lady seems even more astute than I am. The types are really quite different. A 'J' or a 'P' makes for entirely different strengths and by extension, interests, professions, and other activities. Check out the book Gifts Differing and read for yourself.

haha, in a sorts yes. Many times have people come to me looking for items such as keys or a lost sack and i tend to unconsciously find them ina heartbeat.  I have also (so far so good, we'll see though) "cured" some friends of addiction, i dont know yet but i tripped two nights ago and my friend says he always likes to wander and do things, so i thought about not doing anything and then we ended up sitting in a room for five hours and talked about our lives and all the fucked up shit around us and he ended up throwing away 2g's of blow, and vowed to never buy any again (ill update when he does, im sure this one might fall back)
I am also enrolled in a massage therapy course and my reiki instructor says im doing wonderfully, i also have a pretty extensive knowledge of herbs and other plant life.
