This is my first attempt at making a grain LC. I used RGS soaked in 50/50 coffee/water w/ a pinch of gypsum. Could the coffee have made it come out a bit yellow?

Looks ok, but you know there's only one way to tell.

Heh, yeah. This project was for a master for long term storage. That's my main concerm, will it store well. I had a bunch, and only filled 5 vacutainers. I then knocked up 7 quarts of RGS with some of the rest. I'm sure the quarts are gonna be good, but I'm not used to seeing LC settle so fast to the bottom. It only took 5-10 minutes for 90% of the whitish-yellow myc to layer the bottom. And the myc was white in the jar. Do you think I may have a lot of nutes in the sterile water?

I don't think GLC is nescessarily a good choice for long-term storage.

Its a tissue clone from the first tub I did of Penis Envy.
I'm not in a situation right now to be doing agar or slants. I've read some posts where it is said that a GLC in a vacutainer can remain viable for a year or more in cold storage. But Agar's GLC looked clearer than mine, so I'm not sure how "clean" my myc water is. I was hoping some other people may have had solid results long term with myc water that looked like this.
