does this sound okay...

my cakes that im going to use to make a casing have finished colonizing. im kinda nervous cause this is my first casing attempt. what im going to do is put about an inch of wet vermiculite on the bottom of a tupperware container. then ill add the cut up cake. then ill cover it with a layer of wet vermiculite about 1/2 inch deep. ill then keep it in a dark place with no oxygen exchange for about 2 weeks. then ill place it im my terrarium with a little perlite on the bottom to keep the humidity up. the terrarium will be in a room thats about 70-75 degrees and well lit. ill fan and mist the terrarium once or twice a day. does that sound like optimal growing conditions? think it will work out? thanks

I wouldn't use perlite with casings. I would wait 1 week instead of 2.

Sounds pretty good. I would only use about 1/4" for the top casing layer though.
