There is no where for the water to evaporate too if you polyfill your holes. It just drips back down like rain.

Then you would have water logged cakes which is a very bad thing. Also there is no need for poly fill on a PMP and water evaporating can still make its way though poly fill or any other small cracks.
You want water to evaporate and then replace it with misting. If you notice your cakes are very water logged after a few hours then your FAE need to be upped

And they get all that with the pmp. No contaminate can get in there, except below the bed of perlite, unless you put it in there.

Mold spores can find there way into a PMP no problem, but that is not a problem with fully colonized subs and lots of fresh air.
Fanning actually helps keep contams down. Also you will not get the same effect manually fanning as you would with a pump pumping air though water/perlite on the bottom

As long as your pmp is on, and there is positive pressure built up, creating an air current blowing out of the tub, some random spore cannot fly into it.

There are already mold spores on your cakes when you set them in the FC at the beginning or when you make your FC or replace the water or from the pump sucking air in from the outside.

It comes in under the bed of perlite which filters it out, as previously stated.

Swab your FC then transfer it to agar and you will see
FC's are never sterile nor do they have to be at all

if you open your window going 90 down the freeway there is constant air coming in! HOW DOES THE AIR GET OUT?? if it just shot out c02 constantly how would they get oxygen? it has to come in from the outside air. and you are completely arguing against yourself now.

PMP will not work this way its not a laminar flow hood. Put a petri dish in your FC and see for yourself

Air currents in a PMp are very turbulent and not going to help keep mold out. but Like I said that's not a problem since fully colonized subs are contam resistant couple that with lots of fresh air and you should not have any problems
