So, I have 9 jars that are done colonizing, 2 in PMT's, and 1 that never did anything. One in the PMT looks like it might be a bit waterlogged, probably from the overpowering humidifier. The other one, however, is starting to look like it's morphing into a white cactus. I can only hope this is what is called "pinning" and I will be seeing some fruits soon.

By PMT do you mean PMP. Remember even with a PMP still fan it 5-6+ times a day. The spiky looking stuff off the cakes could be arial myc. Take a photo if you can

PMT, PMP, it's all the same. Mine's kind of a mix between a pod and a terrarium. I have one set up where I have it sealed in a tupperware container and fan several times a day (perlite at the bottom as well) and this is the one that I think might be pinning. The other one is in a big water jug that was cut in half, with the humidifier blowing in the top and passing through and out a slit in the bottom, as to supply constant FAE.
I'm pretty sure it's pinning. Or maybe I just hope, lol. They're tiny little white points everywhere, and some look like they have brown tips.
I'd take a pic, but all I have right now is my camera phone. No bueno.

Just looked in on the cakes to fan them..saw a little baby mushroom
Here's a crappy picture I took with my phone. The cakes looks like it's about to burst with a bunch of growth. I'll be sure to post any fruiting porn this weekend with my camera.

Well, I've got 7 cakes dunked & rolled in the fruiting chamber, 1 lost to some weird fermentation-smelling contamination during the dunk, and 3 finishing up colonization. I noticed a little yellow on one of the jars today...is this metabolites, or something worse?

Get that tub up off of the floor!
You should keep your grow at least a foot from the floor.
If those cakes smell nasty then you got a little more than metabolites going on. Lets hope not.
Your sg could use some more perlite, and it looks as though it could use a few more holes too.
You should fan that tub several times a day and mist your cakes whenever they show any signs that they are drying.

Are there holes in the bottom of the FC? From what I understand they are needed to allow for the humidity from the perlite to move around.

The pressure cooker would work perfectly. Especially since it has a tray just the right size to help submerge the cakes. Just put something heavy on top of the tray.

Alright, I wasn't sure if it was too close to the floor, but thanks for the feedback
The cakes don't smell bad, just the one did and I threw it away.
I mist & fan about 7-8 times a day and I ran out of perlite :P Gotta go get some more. Stores are all out for some reason...
Thanks again!

Yeah, holes in all 6 sides.

It's right at 99%. I also have an Ultrasonic Humidifier in my room, so that may help.

I don't see much, but don't worry it takes like a week to see real pins, start preparing your drying chamber DampRid (cheap dissecant) can be found at home depot in the paint section, though its meant to hook up to your toilet...go figure

That metabolite looking shit was the mycelium fighting with a cobweb mold colony. That's a really interesting picture actually, you can see a clear divide between what cube mycelium and cobweb mycelium look like. One's rhizomorphic and thick and the other is cobwebby and thin.
This one:

Kind of looks like the cubes are winning, hah. But I would chuck that jar if you haven't already.

Hm, maybe I'm wrong I guess, but that stuff definitely doesn't look right. Does it smell ok? If it smells like dust at all, I would chuck that thing before it starts getting ugly.
