With the dunk tek and double ended casing for cakes I didn?t notice any difference between cakes that I put a resevoir in and the others.

I dont really know what to say. I keep a 100% plua humidity, aswell as inject my cakes with sterile water with a syringe. 3-5cc's whenever i think they need it, so i guess every 3 days or so. One of the first mushrooms i harvested was an eighth dried, so it must be working.

I recently had the idea to try the Resevoir tek but instead of the way it is supposed to go I wanted to place the cakes straw side down so moisture from the perlite would make it's way up there without actually having to water the cakes but I don't do cakes anymore so I guess I'm hoping somebody will read this and check it out.

I've just used the Inner Reservoir Tek, and my first flush looks amazing:

The hole was put in while preparing the substrate (way before innoculation) with the object that the tek recommends, a sharpie marker.

Very nice work, next time combine the res tek with the double ended casing tek, I think you will be very happy.
