once one of my jars too a month to colonize
i believe it was because it was too dry in the jar.
I probably let it cook for too long in the pot.

2 weeks with EQ's. (I packed down some of the substrate)

1.5 months... BRF, colonized 100% after 3 weeks... had nothing to spawn to poo in.  Spawned last week... moving like wildfire :laugh:

all that'll happen is that mushrooms will form and grow in a circular fashion around the walls of the jar and it'll be very hard to birth without destorying the mushrooms because they'll have probably grown soo twisted around the cake to fit through the opening.

I don?t know if you saw my post on the 9 different kinds of myc in one cake. Those cakes had been sitting around for 6 weeks after they were fully done. I found them in a drawer and used them and they worked fine. The little rectangle cake was so full of piss in the jar it has yellow stains on the front of it.

I don?t recamend this, but this is one of those cakes

4 weeks and both cakes were green when i got back from my trip. one had a tiny shroom on top but it looked contaminated so i threw them both out. the longest most successfull attempt would be 2 weeks. i had 2 casings. one got contaminated and the other fruited about 4 grams.

Mine took a month, im almost positive it had to do with dehydration of the substrate.
Next time im adding more water, and not sterilzing for 130 minutes but 60 minutes instead
