Sure if there's no water between the headphones and your ears it will sound normal.
But it would be quite stupid to go swimming and tripping. What if you decide that you can breathe water in your trip??

I've thought about that before "damn I wonder how deeply my body would let me just INHALE water really quickly before it chocked and gagged and started freaking out"

Call me self-destructive

and as for underwater headphones..... I'm not sure about that - lemmie search..

"True underwater headphones (also called submersible headphones) are completely waterproof. They are available in closed-back or in-ear designs that are specially calibrated to compensate for hearing differences underwater. The closed-back versions can often be found at dealers of underwater metal detectors. Common features include heavy-duty construction and cords, large ear-cushions that provide superior coupling and isolation from ambient noise, and standard underwater-equipment bulkhead connectors. They are generally monaural and not high fidelity - with a frequency response to about 3kHz at best. The transducers and the headphone frame should be both waterproof and corrosion-proof."

Doesn't sound like you could get really clean-sounding music down there

i think i would drown...

i almost suffocated myself in blankets the other day... i dont think i would want to go underwater (as cool as it would be) without a a VERY concerned person watching me.

I would only swim if I were on a very low dose....

when I take a high dose of shrooms I'm usually glued to the couch or floor for quite some time  - I'm a great swimmer, but I'm not confident my skills would make the transition to such an altered state

I would love to go swimming on shrooms...
I feel like a fuckin world olympic athlete when I'm trippin hard. Well, If I get up and start movin around and excercizing I do, otherwise I'll get sucked into a couch.

I think you'd have to be pretty fucked up to try and breathe water but I guess I don't know for sure. I guess a low dose (like 3 grams) would be the best way to go. I ate around a quarter oz. once and really stopped believing in any natural laws and felt totally invincible. I think I would have seen any life-threatening situation as a beautiful challenge or something...

With a modest dose and a sitter I think it would be a definate blast.

As for the music, it would be cool just to hear some ambient bassy rhythms in your ears even if you couldnt distinguish it that well. those headphones are probably expensive though, eh?

I went swimming at the beach on 3 hits of acid and it was hard as hell. Confusing as hell too..and the REAL jelly fish didn't help especially when they started to multiply thanks to the LSD..but I would definitly do it again..and i didnt even get stung lol..snorkling while on acid or shrooms would be fun..might have to try that.

Man i couldnt swim in the ocean tripping, I would keep envisioning sharks or something and freak out. I could probably only do it in a nice clear man-made pool heheh. I dunno though, all my sober fears seem to disappear when I trip, it would probably be cool.
