RR is right you got burned... I'm a cheapo and I'd only buy an all american 25 or 40 something qt electric 120VAC stereoclave for that kind of cash. But to each his own. You just killed 240 bux.

RogerRabbit said: 11 liter. Ouch, that's really tiny for the price. In addition, it's only 6 gauge aluminum, which is pretty thin. It also has a gasket, and doesn't come with the required insert or trivets. You could have bought a bullet proof American made AA 921, which is twice the size, five times the thickness, and comes with a trivet for that price and had money left over, even AFTER paying shipping.
So sorry you got screwed. Thanks for posting in hopes nobody else makes that mistake. RR

He can't use 120V. It is just not possible when you get 220V on your sockets.

the problem is not only voltage, but frequency too. In US you have 120V on 60Hz, Europe has 220V with 50Hz.

Yah. It's comical, seeing all these posters saying, "Duuude!, you really oughtta get an All American!...So worth it!"
When, for many reasons spelled out in minutiae, I've explained that such is impossible for me here.
An annoying lack of comprehension amongst some humans.

Did you try?
To clarify a previous poster, the difference between 50hz and 60hz doesn't apply to inductive heating devices like a sterilizer. It will work fine on either frequency. The model I linked you to is rated for 240 volt operation. RR

eh-eh, Roger. I think that's quite a bit more information--to which you are privy, as you have the IP "Keys to the Kingdom," as it were--than is ethically sound.

I stand by my 75x :-D

One of the best investments I've made.
I think it ran about $750ish with shipping from myco supply.

I feel y', Oggy. I really do.
And I also grok that "$750ish with shipping" is 3x what I almost spent last night, and got ragged for having almost done so...'cept "with shipping" wd bring an All American to way over $1.2k where I sit, and is a whole lot more than reason requires.

I hear you. I like the convenience. The 75x allows to me to do large batches and not be tied to the kitchen either.
I can cook up to 24 quarts worth of PF mix in a single batch @ 20-21 PSI :-D

There's something wrong with you dude. You posted something on the cultivation forum, and when you were told you got ripped off, magically it would have been past your monthly spending limit. Then RR gives you a link to and information on something that would work for you, and you allude that he is not respecting your privacy, despite the fact that you've already said you're running on 220. He didn't specify a special site in your country, he linked you to the AA site. And you didn't get ragged on for getting ripped off, you were told that you could, in fact, do better for the money. Nobody here started out trying to make you look like a fool, everyone's been trying to give you advice so that you don't get ripped off, and all you do is get offended and tell us why these things CAN'T work, instead of letting others help you figure out what CAN work and how to get what you pay for. Seeing how others are just trying to help you, which is what the cult. forum is here for, why not stop acting offended and stubborn and instead try to be collaborative in the effort, it'll get you a lot further than comments like

tl;dr: People are trying to help you. If you don't want their advice or comments, you don't have to see them if you just don't post. If you post, don't be pissy when you're told the truth, and especially not when someone's trying to help you.

Most, maybe all countries with 240v as standard operate at 50hz. RR disclosed no personal information which you didn't reveal yourself.

I commend RR for going back to his post and excising part of it, which did, in fact, offer info allusive to my locale. Thanks, RR.
Anyway, the main thrust of the "criticism" in this thread has been: That I was dumb to consider spending $280--which included all shipping costs--for an 11-liter electric autoclave which operates on the voltage I can use, versus spending upwards of $1,200 for an All American--shipping factored in--on a voltage I cannot use (220v does not equal 240v).
Weird.
Mods can lock this thread now, as they wish, 'cos it's run its course and won't be added to by moi.

Cool. I thought that the allegation that you said you exceeded your credit limit to save face was a little strange, as if saying you canceled the order because of second thoughts would make people think less of you. Good luck with finding what you need, and yeah, the AA sterilizers are probably the best option if you have the scratch.

You can use a 220V appliance on 240V and the other way around. RR

In the states, people often refer to 110v power. Way back when, it was, but it's been 120v for many decades. It's probably the same with 220v power really being 240v.

Actually 240V is made for 220 Voltage. 240 figure is used just to explain that it can even work if there are Voltage jumps up to 10%.
...
Oh it was already explained.. sorry
