Pictures of young peyote...?

Can someone post pictures of peyote in its infancy? I'm talking the first 3-7 months of development from sprouting to actual button forming. Thank you much in advance.

Sorry, off topic, but why is your nickname black??

Admins can change the color of people's names, mods used to be able to before they took it away from us. Someone probably changed his name back in the day.
Uno: I believe CLub99 or Una posted some pics of small peyotes about a year ago, try doing a search in this forum.

Is it me or is there something wrong with the color scheme your camera is producing, it was like searching for a black man in the dark.
Those two specimens don't really look right. They look kinda like fungal contams, ones that i used to call smoke stacks.
If camario says they look fine then it's probably just something weird on my end, but it's weird enough to make my disbelieve it's really peytoe seedlings at 8 months, or peyote seedlings at all for that matter.
I seriously looked all around that dime trying to find something.. then like a idiot staring at a magic eye for three hours i finally noticed them.
Are those seedlings really not green or is it jus tme? and why are they stretched so tall?

i did enlarge the picture.
one more thing kinda bugs me, they're kinda elongated what seems to be a little to much than normal for me, although it could still just be the picture or my bad judge of scaling.

They look fine to me! It is normal for baby peyote to be elogated. It is a very delicate time for them though and they can die from too much water or too little. Make sure that their moisture is balanced and that they don'y burn from the sun either. They don't get their familiar squat shape until later

i'm used to elongation, but that looks like a lot, but the entire picture looks weird to me in general...
btw: i spoke of a tray to post a picture of, but sadly i came home yesterday and found it knocked over and all was ruined =(. I was ready to kill my cats. Little shits.

Mine seem to be long and tubular, almost like what columnar cacti. I'll take some pics later.

They do look a bit elongated but once you mulch the seed tray with fine grit/gravel i think they will be fine.May be try to get some stronger light on them.
Good luck
