i'm pretty sure you're not gonna get any exact numbers.. people don't usually weigh the yield of each cake. if anything, they weigh the total yield of all their cakes. besides, the yield can very greatly from cake to cake, flush to flush. why don't you try it yourself? dunk half your cakes and don't dunk the other half, then weigh the yield from each cake and you will see that dunking *can* double what you get.

personally, i dunk ALL my cakes and the flushes are excellent. when they pin, the cakes are practically covered in pins!
