Problem with giving titles to hyperlinks...
    #12298141 - 03/30/10 10:15 AM (13 years, 9 months ago)

So I type this link in the 'URL:' section: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperlink

...then this title in the 'Title:' section: Hyperlink - Wikipedia

...and this crap shows up:

[url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperlink]Hyperlink - Wikipedia
[/url]

It's been crapping out like this for like over a month. :shrug:

I just tested this and I found your problem.  Make sure the [/url] is on the same line as the rest.

Same line:  Google  Code:
[url=www.google.com]Google[/url]

Next line:    [url=www.google.com]Google
                  [/url]

What do you mean by "same line as the rest"?

What line? The rest of what? :undecided:

The rest of the code...  :lol:    You have [/url] on the next line.  Keep the whole string of code on the same line.

Google

I get it now, but am wondering why I have to do this manually now--I used to not have this problem. :shrug:

You must be hitting enter or something after you click OK, causing it to jump to the next line.  :shrug:

Oh yeah, I've been pressing enter instead of clicking 'OK'--silly me...:picard:

Ythan should make it so that pressing enter instead of clicking 'OK' doesn't make it skip a line. :cool:

It doesn't skip a line for me.  I hit enter and it goes in just fine.  The problem is the cursor appears right behind the first bracket '[' so you must be pressing enter AFTER clicking OK.  I think the cursor should appear after the entire code so it eliminates this confusion.

But I'm not even clicking  'OK', I'm just pressing enter once after I type in my title.
