Try using some perlite or something to keep humidity up too. If you just use a heating pad, it will be dry heat, and dry your shit out.

If it is feasible, save yourself some money and stick your jars on top of the fridge and throw a towel over them so it hangs down the back a bit. Keeps my stuff right in the target zone.

if you do go with the heating pad, on top is correct as under will dry the jars.
