Buy fake ID's / papers / birth certificates / passports
Destroy everything that can be traced back to you, withdraw and close all bank accounts
Go move somewhere else
You might be able to BS your way into a new bank account with documents
I dont know about getting real work, over here you would need a new NI number (something you can't just forge)
Or join the mafia, rat them out, free witness protection

If the government was extending its helping hand it could be done no worries. For all of us normal non-spy losers though i think it would be nearly impossible to completely erase all evidence of your former life.

You wouldn't need to erase evidence of your former life. Just get solid ID/docs for your new life.

Other than creating a new identity I think it would be easier to take over a recently deceased persons identity.. At least to get you to where you are going then trying to create one there

It's definitely possible. I have a guy who can get me a whole new identity complete with all the docs for a grand. I'm expecting to have to give him a call one of these days.

If you have close friend or so in social-security register, you could get them to forge you new social-security code (example: mm/dd/yy-abc123)
Or if you know a good hacker, you could hire someone to brake into register database and add new person in there, your new forged identity.
You can even declare yourself dead to erase your past if you know someone in hospital well enough.
This could be efficient when doing bank fraud, get lots of loan and then after that they notice your dead. (or rat mafia like said before lol)

in the US it's much more complicated, we have a system that is supposed to curb the false identities from being generated, in order to establish the account a state issued birth certificate has to be presented in addition to other state or federal ID, and you cant get the ID without the social security information, Our system is encoded, the format ix XXX-XX-XXXX, it gives 3 digits which list the month and year the card was applied for, the second two digits give the location where the card was applied/issued and to ensure unique numbers for 300 million people, the numbers will change a little in the encoding
20 years ago it was still possible to obtain old birth certificates of children that were deceased prior to obtaining any ID of their own, today that's become almost impossible, once again, ID for that person would have to have been issued prior to the request, these two are the primary reason the illegal immigrants are simply making up numbers for employment documents or buying the info of others to use, the federal government recently passed laws making that form of identity theft a crime
as for fake passports, there's companies that produce them but they're easily detected as fakes by most officials, finding a good forger is damned near impossible, most states are also revamping their IDs to make counterfeiting them more difficult, I just had mine reissued and it now has 3 holographic images, one being my photo, 3 photos of me, one being the hologram and now has raised lettering for a signature which you dont see in the sample image the sate provides

most fake IDs are poor forgeries anyway, if you live in the state of issue there's no way it'll avoid detection, if it's from out of state, most cops are issued an ID book just as many bars have that has current an past state and federal IDs

I've always wondered about this. If I could I would.
Right now a judge agreed to expunge my record if I complete drug-treatment anytime in the next few years, and pay off my fines of course.
After that I was planning on changing my name (keep my first name) for various reasons. I guess it costs about 500-600$ and it's not that hard to do.
But as for actually obtaining a new identity - I would think that it would be locked down extremely tight in the USA. The DMV around here is worse then what I would have expected the mexican border to be like on the way back from Tijuana. I had a friend who's mother took the pictures for the drivers licenses.. that's about as close to a "connect" as I'm gonna get.
And I'm sure professionals aren't real eager to advertise their business as falsifying a federal document is a felony.
I remember reading in the anarchist cookbook a long time ago that the dead-records (for birth certificates) were easiest to obtain through the public library. Now most libraries work with the "winding rivers" system around here. I didn't return some books, so that's out..
Heh. Without professional assistance I wouldn't even try it.
Anyone have any real experience or advice on this topic?

No joke. They will give you French citizenship, and a new name, identity, etc. Of course, you have to serve 5 years in the FFL.

It is a get out of jail free card... but 5 years of service.
I think a lot of judges would give you military service instead of jail if you are a healthy young man.
If you don't do anything morally reprehensible at least.
Not bad. I bet if more people knew about it a lot of people would find their way to France from all over to escape poverty as well...

I actually looked into this one day while I was bored as fuck in my cubicle at work.
They used to accept people with no questions asked, but now they run your fingerprints thru Interpol before letting you in.

2 of my friends went that route. Were not about to snitch and were not about to go to jail for a long time. One marine, one navy enlistment.
They were both thin, healthy, tall, and white.

All services have regulations against people joining the military to avoid jail time. I'm raising the BS flag.
BTW what do their physical characteristics and ethnicity have to do with it?
