"Someone took?" You mean someone removed because it has no place out in nature? If I was on a hike and saw that, I'd remove it, too. I highly doubt it is gracing someone's wall. Much more likely it's in a dumpster.

Wrong.
I dunno if you realize that out in the desert farmers simply excavate a hole in the ground and throw all their 'hard rubbish' in there. Like old fridges and bicycles and sheet metal. It's common practice. This piece of corrugated iron in the picture was pulled out of such a tip, and i simply sprayed a crankey face on it, out of boredom, and took a photo. Next time i went back there it was gone. This is in my area. Its a disused dump, slightly hidden, next to a highway, next to a rest stop. Sometimes i camp in here because its hidden and kinda cool.

Well, that's a shame, and doesn't make it right. In fact, that behavior is even more offensive to me and should be less tolerated. Trust me, the "cranky art" (which in and of itself I think is cool!) you left is in a dumpster somewhere or has been re-buried and is not being coveted by some total stranger who happened upon it. You know it, I know it, 'nuff said. We're getting OT.

Hey bud you felt the need to post your guess on the background story of my photo and write me off and say that it belongs in a bin. For someone who has as many +5 shroomratings as you have, i must say im a little disapointed (and confused) in your posts about me and my 'artwork'. You're being very judgemental and i dont appreciate it one bit.
I have every right to say anything in my defense so dont pull the getting of topic card on me bud.
All i said is someone took it. I dont know why you think that means its on someones wall lol.
I made half a dozen of those things in that tip but just the standard smiley faces. They were all still there but the crankey was gone. What does that imply?
Not sure whats up with you but i hope all is well in your life atm.

Sorry. I don't mean to come off like a dick, but I'm a very environmentally conscious person and the notion of leaving man-made stuff (even art like the monoliths) kinda gets my goat. I apologize.
I spend a lot of time wilderness hiking (hence "Nature Boy") and I've seen the gradual degradation of the natural world first-hand and I find it upsetting. Nothing against you in particular...just the general state of affairs that seems to get irrevocably and incrementally worse over time. Not you personally. Like I said, I thought the cranky face was cool! Ideally I'd prefer to see it in a gallery...not out in nature is my point. I hope we understand each other better now.
