This is a friend's D&D character I drew for her birthday. It was based on comic book art but is not traced; I just liked the pose she was in and decided it worked well for the style of drawing I had in mind. Inverted colors make the shading easier to see, but really I'm not satisfied with the quality of the scan. I'll have to edit it some more with photoshop instead of paint.

that's a nice piece of work! what medium did you use? it's hard to tell from a digital copy but it looks like watercolor with colored pencil or pastel. maybe some sumi brush work?

"Life" acrylic on cardboard, 2003-05 Not my personal work, it was done by my best friend.
I finally persuaded her to sell it to me after a few years of telling her it was my favorite piece of artwork ever.

I am creating CG stuff....currently working on an spaceship battle animation. This here is by far my best work i think. I just love cyberpunk.

Also since summer, i started painting again, mostly psychedelic stuff. Lets just say the one trip in summer kicked my lazy ass so I HAD TO make these.

I had some problems to photograph them, since i have used silver and copper coat, and they obviously reflect light, which was the idea pretty much, but make it difficult to light properly without an professional setup (and camera! mine is shit).

Yeah, its one of my favourite movies. I think i can admit that i modeled the character after the Major. Not trying to replicate it, more like interpret it. It was my plan to make an animation with her on the rooftop, using a sniper rifle to shoot down an futuristic airplane. I love to animate it, but i fucking hate texturing (unwrapping) and rigging, and even to think about the amount of work, makes me frustrated.
