Just the ideas I'm working on at the moment.

Totally irrellevant, but I know I've seen some people mention airbrushing in this thread and I wanted to practice with mine yesterday morning(only used it twice before and it came pre-assembled and ready to boogie), I disassembled it because I realized I didn't clean it so well when I used it on Thursday and then spent a stupidly long amount of time trying to reassemble the thing without googling directions. Finally did it and five minutes in I lost the nozzle seal....which is less than half a millimeter and black and now lost forever until replacements arrive. The only reason I lost it was because I thought I thought I might've tightened the nozzle too much when I put it together and was having some issues. Didn't even realize I lost it until the air pressure sent paint splattering into my face.

edit:
moar. these were just recent memorable doodles I'm gonna keep around to do something with idk. My mind has been in a strange place lately.

i like the self-portrait one (second one) alot. the first one is pretty dire (cool looking but scary kinda) and the last one is dope because the person looking behind the mask is a cool symbolism. plus, it's just nicely done. the third one is a girl jumping into the mouth of a giant scary fish? yikes.

Thankyou!
I was listening to Her Space Holiday - I love the band name itself so much and was thinking about it during that, wishing I had thought of it first lol. There's usually a little element of myself in everything I draw, and actually, the third pictures down were originally the self portrait or a manifestation of what I've felt like or something like that, but I literally have no control over what my hand does sometimes and that particular face just kept coming out
and i'm not really sure what the monster is yet lol, but you're spot on with the fish thing, because I was thinking of angler fish at the time. It's kind of hard to see, especially cause the bottom half of her legs are cropped out, but it's meant to be a treeline/forest, but then the fish happened and I started turning it into more of a cave that's actually a mouth, or something, idk. I really liked the idea of the woods, but it doesn't morph into the monster quite as well.

well, it's sorta like a weird conundrum... why is the Angler in the woods? full circle? from the depths to the heights, well, for humans anyways. (we rarely climb, and we don't fly, not ourselves)
you're taking a solid route from the ground to the depths, by jumping into the Angler's mouth!
into the depths!

Originally it started out as a red riding hood/stoppingbythewoodsonasnowyevening/robert frost type of deal, with the woods or cave or whatever the fuck it is morphing into the cavernous mouth of a monster...but it turned into a fish against my will
The angler fish is a pretty meaningful image to me though, they've been popping up in my drawings for a little while. I tend to get images stuck in my head and try to draw them out, but the one that I've been stuck on for a couple years is a giant angler fish luring a scuba diver down into the depths with their light.
I've been wanting to have it worked into a tattoo for some time now, as someone who's inherently self destructive and the type to be chasing lights all the way down to the depths myself lol.

it seems like that's pretty prevalent.
btw, that'd make a sick tat.
PS: as a symbol, the angler fish makes perfect sense, to me at least... and if it makes sense to you, that's what's important obviously, and i mean... it might not make any logical sense, but as a symbol... it makes perfect sense to have the angler in the woods. maybe you don't have to go deep diving to find the light; sometimes the trap is right on our level. Red Riding hood found that shit out, now she's gonna get eaten.

Spacerific - that's some beautiful work you've got there, I love how you incorporated that picture of the buildings too, nice touch.
Here is some of my more recent traditional stuff...

I also do digital painting sometimes:

Couple o' recent unfinished digital things:

And lastly some sharpie doodles I did while/after tripping recently:
(let me know if I need to remove that last one... I don't consider it to be pornographic, more like satire. Then again, I'm new here & don't necessarily know what flies)

Here are four paintings I've done recently. Before these I haven't touched a paint brush for 20 years. I have so many painting ideas in my head but I have trouble making the brushes move how I want them too. I think I'm much better with a pencil.
