 Blueing Cakes Did I do the Right Thing.? Ahh

Trying to figure out what to put for the subject is the worst. I used the PF-Tek caking method. Everthing worked okay. I got incredible pins.
I counted over 100 pins on that cake and probably 70% aborbted. That sucked.

What it seems to me is that when I first started becase I am newbie I over hydrated. Things were still growing. Fine... Then I stoppedd because I was getting fatasses and growth on the stems from the cake. My cakes stopped producing and everthing was aborting. My humidity was very high. The readout on my digital gauge said "HI" meaning over 99%. Two cakes never pinned so I cased them in straighjt verm. 3 of the 4 cakes left started blueing very bad. From what I have read that could mean thay were drying out. Like I said I have very high humidity. I decided to double end case the cakes. The last four.vThey seemed kinda dry. With that high of humidity. Is that possible? Well. I did it anyway. Should I have.? Everything was aborting. Did I go in the right direction? PLease critisize me.

Really do you think that that was a major problem causing the aborts? That first cake. Like I said. I stopped counting the pins after like 90.. so I say over a 100. Two other cakes had ove 50.pins And from those three. 80% aborted. That could cause that much of an impact. Now your making me think. I fanned about 3 times in 13 hours. Not enough? The other 11 I did not. But I was not regiment about it either.

This is whats going on with the 2 cakes cased. 5 days growth at 83F

I am learniing from my mistakes. So my fanning more I will accompish? Relieving the extra humidity( and (C02) I created.?
