Inoculation question
    #1225895 - 01/17/03 07:10 AM (21 years, 2 months ago)

If you inoculated some jars (brf) and every site where the needle solution distributed turned greenish white, would it be most likely the syringe was contamed? The contam showed up three days after inoculation, but only with the one specific solution. Other jars that were not innoculated were fine. Any suggestions? Needle was heated and alcohol swiped between every jar.

if you cleaned the needle prior to innoculation, then it would have to be the spore solution that was bad...especially if all the ones you knocked up had the same growth in the same spot....

I agree...it was probably the syringe.

Thanks for the information. I also learned I was not spelling inoculation right. Two for one!
