Sometimes when I'm drunk I'll say things I feel but wouldn't normally say. However that's because it lowers inhibitions and what I keep to myself is usually intentional. So it's part of my "sober heart" but not all of it. Then there are things I say or do that I would just never do or even condone if I were sober.

From my observations, people who are wild, crazy, and otherwise stupid when drunk....Usually these are the people that can't handle their shit with psychedelics.

im a terrible drunk, but love psychedeics. this statement is false.

also this thread/topic is only a justification for abuse. my sober mind is pretty reasonable and rational. when i get drunk, i come up with all sorts of crazy tangents/beliefs and just plain stupid BULLSHIT that I don't even want to remember sober, it has nothing to do with "speaking the truth". the quote should be as follows: "a drunken minds speaks a lot of bullshit"

when i get drunk i hit on fat chicks and uglies, does that mean my sober heart truely wants that? fuck no, it just means im a pussy hounds when i get drunk.

this statement has NO truth. people that believe this are also probably people that listen to and believe in their virtuous spirituality gained from psychedelic use.

ahahaha

Umm... im a wild crazy and otherwise stupid drunk.  It's because i drink exsessive amounts.  I kind of have an all or nothing personality, when i get into things, i get into them very deeply.  Have an addictive personality.  I have done a bunch of stupid shit drunk and im sure a lot of people have, but that doesn't mean i can't handle my psychs.  I actually really enjoy acid and mush, i just think a lot of psychedelic people don't enjoy alcohol because the user population of the drugs lead different life styles.  However that doesn't mean a drunkard can't love acid.

I think "A drunken mind speaks a drunken heart"  I have said / done a lot of stupid shit while blacked out... but i wouldn't call it a "sober heart."  Some things you do blacked out are things you really feel, and others are because your fucking wasted.  Depends on the person and whats going on in their life.  It's not so black and white.

Indeed. This girl probably had a lot on her mind and you speak what is on you're mind...quite freely when you are drunk. It's a shame really; it should be like that more often. We are on an internet forum speaking our minds, more often than not people just want to be heard.

Some people talk shit.

Some people feel that's the only time it's acceptable to be open.

In vino veritas - in wine (there is) truth. That is the standard and well-known old Latin chesnut. This saying in general definitely goes back much further than that even.

One time this girl threw a party she got so drunk she was crying and screaming at the top of her lungs.
Her name was Heidi so we took a picture of it and we labeled it the exorcist of Heidi H.
Now every time i see her at a party i always end up teasing her about it.

Dude i have seen a similar thing.

I was at some hotel party and this girl was sitting on the bed literally in a pool of her own vomit. It was disgusting. WAY TO GET SUPER DRUNK.

The next day she repeated the previous steps as necessary

Fixed it for you just a bit, heh. And, while the repetition of a saying certainly doesn't make it true, it does suggest that there is something to it when they saying in question is as old as wine itself.
