 Mutated shrooms.

Ok my casing is growing hyphal knots like crazy. Some are big twisty knarled balls biogger than the tip of my thumb. One of them has a small cap that has broken veil and the edge of the small cap is twisting upward showing sporeless gills. This section is about a square 1-1/2 inch mass of twisted stem/knot. another one looks like a stem but at the top it turns white and has sporeless gill sgrowing out of it. There are normal pins coming out of the casing too and they are looking nice. Should I pick these knots/caps/stems/gills? What caused this? Would spraypaint fumes cause this? Lysol? Strain is hawiaaian growin on millet cased with 60/40 coir. Thanks alot

I hear lysol causes some mutation, if u want a little more info maybe check this out, it will give u some ideas of wat it could be.

not really sure, but might be a humidity problem.. ie: too high.
check the post " Crazy Shrooms " has info on it!!

I dident have any humidity and all the knots formed and now there doing this. Shopuld I pick the stem masses? Are they going to grow pins ?

There were about 5 that had the sporeless upturned caps. I picked them. On the inside of a very thick one it looked like it has rings(like a tree) of a light neon green. The caps appear to be porus(like a polypore) but also look like wavy gills. Theres about 20 normal pins and the rest are knots. I hope I get a good 1st flush But I think I wont. Will the later flushes make up for this?

H2o2(Hydrogen peroxide) will cause mutations also.

Damnit!!! You got it man. Ive been misting with a 1 to 5 parts hydro.pero. For a week or so. I geuss thats what caused it. How much do you think this affected my first flush? Later flushes?

I often get shit loads of mutants on the first flush of the amazonian strain I grow, but all subsequent flushes produce normal textbook specimens. Other varieties growing in the same conditions never go all mutated so I don't think it can always be due to chemicals/fumes etc. Maybe you have a strain that's prone to throw up mutants. In any case, yield and potency doesn't seem to be affected so I never worry about it

I ate a good handfull of mutants and am tripping quite nicely. They blued a shitload and greened some too.

Thanks. It makes me mad that I wasted somthing by using a bad recipie. What exactly did I waste? Would these mutants have become shrooms if I hadent mist? I think I typed that last part wrong?
