There might be 2 in the first image.
I used to think those were knots too, but the knots are smaller and beige colored. in my experience they tend to look like the color of a mushroom stem, not pure white.
your tub is not finished colonizing btw.

How do you know my tub isnt finished colonizing????
Thats a casing of peat and verm your looking at.
The sub was fully colonized a week ago. Sub being coir/verm/gypsum/coffee.
I guess i dont know what a hyphal knot is and i have looked at 20 posts or more showing Hyphal Knots . 
So am i just looking at Rhizomorphs ?????
I can see that what i have will soon turn into Hyphal knots correct?

I see a well colonized casing with some dew on it but no pins.
You'll see them soon enough because it looks like you're doing well.

Im with RR..I dont see any. I see rhizos and dew drops..should have knots soon.
I dont have any real good knot shots..this one is knotting though
I found this too..some are knots some are pins..

Oh, it was a trick question! How thick is the casing?
Knots will form down in the casing layer when they're ready, and that casing is pretty damn ready, so introduce it to fruiting conditions. What you see on the top is almost all rhyzo. There might be some knots in there though, esp. in the 2nd pic.

OK thanks for that hard to see in the first pic second one its easier i shall re study Hyphal Knots so i can get a grasp of what I'm looking at
I just saw Rhizos come up and then join with other strands so i thought that was Hyphal Knotting as it kind of went with the wording but guess i was barking up wrong tree 
Will keep checking my tray then take another pic of what i think is hyphal knot now and see if you all agree !!

Casing was about a inch maybe 3/4 thick and the sub was 4 inches thick
Oh and its in the FC now has been for a few days

I think he just wants to know what they look like.
You got a strain that comes up from under the surface a little, some do that..so the casing mix and hyphaes are covering up the knots..none are visable in the pictures I can see.

I use this picture so people can easily see hyphal knots, primordia, pins, and mushrooms. The knots are less than 1mm in diameter. Primordia are starting to look like mushrooms as they elongate. Pins have stipes and caps forming. Mushrooms are. . . .mushrooms.

Thanks I have seen that pic before while i was searching Hyphal Knots. I guess it would be easier to see them on a uncased sub as its hard to see whats going on through a casing.

It was a casing layer..he stuffed grain into just about anything he could think of I think to get mushies on it just to say he could, I think  .

hey empty vessel..in both of those pics almost dead center in the first and dead center in the second, in the areas with no pins..I see hyphal knots..they'll be pins next flush.
