Just curious if mycellium could be bruised. Here's scenario and see if u think its this too? 2 cakes in 1 gall rubbermaid humidified by perlite and dunked cakes sitting on tinfoil. Temps are at 70 and I have a seran wrap over lid and that lets light in also. About 6 or so holes were poked in lid when i noticed why mycellium growin on top of developing caps. Poke about 15 more holes in seran wrap and fanned it. Now it seems about 12 hours later the white pieces turned blue. Could have they turned blue due to more holes or should i be worried about contams? They don't smell funky either.

well i think its just mycellium and then it blued since it was aborted maybe? anyone else see this type of phonomena damn mutants.

but its not happening on the cake. its the developing fruits that have the blue spotted myc on top of them only like 2 or 3 from my allen strain. they were dunked as said before in previous posts and adequately hydrated with perlite. nothing like this on the pr cake and it has a developing pin that went back into stem growing stage odd.

Sounds to me like they are bruizin'. There are blue contams out there but they won't grow in PF tech jars due to unfavorable conditions. I would try increasing Humidity and see if that helps. Another thing to take into consideration is that Mushrooms won't grow if they have a big fat contam on their cap. The only way the actual fruits will contam is if they are rotting.
