is there a grow log yet?
i'm tired of fooling with the verm in my jars, and this seems like the best way to use my left over brown rice. i'd like to try this tek, but i don't know enough about growing mushies to do it with out some step by step directions to follow. have you written out a "bible" for this tek?

DAMMIT! I was hoping I was the first to try this... The way I am going about it is somewhat different, however.

1. I am using Uncle Ben's brand whole grain brown rice.(The kind that comes in a boiling bag)

2. I cooked the bag in a ziplock bag full of distilled water. After about 1 hour of boiling I took the whole thing out and put it in another ziplock bag....(I do this because I have found the the first ziplock bag gets really weak around the seals and makes it more open to contaminants.

3. After it was all cooled I injected the bags...I did .5 cc on each side of the bags...and am letting them sit in an 85 degree F incubation chamber. but that is as far as I have gotten so far....


Glad I am not the only one trying it though...I most likely am gonna end up with a bag full of green, but still worth a try. :grin:
