My other has more rounded edges, the flowers are shorter and have less purple in them.

in comparison to,

I have another one i picked up last year actually that's different again,

The flowers are different though, more like this,

And yeah i just break bits off and pot them up.

The red one you have is Hatiora gaertneri, also known as the original Easter Cactus.

I prefer the christmas cactus to be honest, i'm not very good at leaving a garden centre empty handed tho so i have an easter cactus too,, .

It was given to my brother when he was born, 1973, who then gave it to my mum 10 years later, then adopted by me. According to my mum it was started from seed late 60s. It has rarely been repotted or given nutes of any kind, so not as large as it could be. Don't know what mammillaria it is I just assume it to be..
8"x7" , tatty ol' thing... white stones gotta go too.

 From my 2 year old huernia zebrina I was just able to identify last autumn because of these flowers popping up. They last about 7 days before they shrivel up and fall off.

My Christmas Cactus are all in bloom again


 This is the original plant, it's nearly 40, more than twice my age, all the others are just rooted cuttings from this one

I that that this is a Crown Of Thorns it cam with the apartment that i live in and is at least 13 years old, its budding. Can anyone provide me with an id on this?

Purdy. Might have gone for a drive today had the weather been better, the snowdrops and crocus are out. It's raining though so i'm stoned instead,, .
