Casing problem?

Im not sure if its me or not, but I see very little mycelium growth on these verm/brf casing my friend has. The top layer is all verm. It seems after about seven days not much mycelium came thru. I noticed it was very dry, so he lightly misted it, till it was moist how it was before. He patched all these casings up where there were signs of mycelium, for a more even pinset. Any idea how much longer it will be before he can put it in a terranium?

he should have already put it in terrarium. usually takes like 2 weeks or so for pins. maybe shorter maybe longer.

sounds like your casing layer was too dry.
mist it good and see what happens.

how deep of a casing layer did you use?
how much substrate is in the casing?

hmmm FUCK. Its about a quarter inch thick casing layer. Its already been misted (wasnt THAT dry before).
It was covered in syran wrap and foil, outside of the terranium sitting in a dark closet. Should he put it in the terranium w/ the syran wrap on it or what?

Also, it hasnt been two weeks, so he should still be able to throw it in the terranium(?)
