Cobweb Mold Question?

I have looked at alot of pictures of cobweb. I am doing my first casing. My question is. Can cobweb mold start from the inside of the casing and work itself out.?dMost of the pictures I see are of it on the top of the casing and fuzzing out a bit. I have a case with 2 PF TEK cakes that weren't pinning in the fruiting chamber. I cased verm on bottom.. broke the cakes up and cased verm on top. I see that it is colonizing on bottom(container is clear, and I will black tape it before fruiting chamber)., and that I see white growth starting to come come thru the top. It just looks very unlike the myc I have seen on the cakes. It is growing slow.. so cobweb grows very fast.?/..from inside of case?.....Any help would be apreciated.

yes cobweb grows very very fast
