verm/BRF/water mixing

For PF tek...Is it better to mix vermiculite and water first before adding BRF or is it better to mix vermiculite and BRF before adding water. How do you guys do it?

I get a mixing bowl, put vermiculite in first, then brown rice flour on top, and then I squirt the water(I use a syringe for accurate measurement) on top and mix it all together with a fork. Works great, and it's a fast way to make a lot of jars. Good luck!

Edit:
I put the vermiculite in first because if you put BRF in first it has a tendency to stick to the sides of the bowl, and it makes it a lot harder to mix.

I get a mixing bowl, put vermiculite in first, then I mix in the water really good, I mix it all together with a large spoon, then I mix in the brown rice flour really good with the rest.

2 cups of verm.
1 cup of water.
1 cup of brown rice flour.

makes 4 half pint jars of substrate.

I get a mixing bowl add the vermiculite,then add water until
the vermiculite can hold no more without puddling in the bowl.
Then i add the ground rice and mix well with a hand wisk.

2 cups verm
water to staturation
1 cup ground brown rice
