Im really enjoying this thread. I assume many of us feel the same about this subject? To me it's beautiful, to know that this isn't just some random emotion that I'm feeling. That there really are people all over the world awakening.

I know. It's unfortunate.
We just have to start our own community.

Never thought about doing that. Sounds super fucking shitty imo
No TV, no video games, no books around at all times, no computers, NO INTERNET
Man FUCK that!
I'm materialistic as can be and I intend to keep it that way. I'm materialistic but not stupid and lazy. I live an active 'naturalisticish' life, love the outdoors and going on treks and exploring new things but I like to do that stuff with materialistic items like a mountain bike or a GPS if I'm going out somewhere
I'm happy the way things are now, good luck in you're hippie quests though

sounds very naturalistic.

I think this video shows exactly the process that unfolds when a temporary autonomous zone is in the making.
It takes one to start, two to join, three to establish, if the spirit is true and from the heart, the rest comes on its own.

thing is im happy with all that shit too... but i think it could be a cool experiment to move out in the wilderness, spend a couple years writing music and tripping with people that join me and when i feel i have created something good and enjoyed it enough, come back and join society ....
hardest question is where i should do this? but im really tempted and could probably get people to join me...

the happiness path is a difficult one
but you can go out there and survive in the wild, which will require a lot of work
and u can dive into psychedlics too, but that might reveal more work than you planned.
Geezzzz... what wisdom. but what do you do in modern society when the bills have to be paid in the mean time? ? ? ? How do we work towards that without melting into homelessness in the mean time???
And I've seen documentaries on the Aghori. You should really check them out!

Yeah they seem awesome!
I just read that they are alcoholics... what? Alcohol is generally a consciousness closer.
I am good with cannibalism and weed... but beer?

second, thailand.
thank you, I was thinking the same thing....
It saddens me that I was born a Christian. You dont just shake an upbringing like that....It saddens me that they put the man to death and all we can all do is fight about it for 2000 yrs.... blah.
I found an amazing man somewhat thru my search of philosophy/religion... but we had differences in opinion cuz Im still burning from all my sins. jk, kinda. My buddhist friend who has been a guide for me says maybe our paths will cross again so Im just supposed to continue my search for higher order (my words, not his..)
But I think this is the right path, there's just too much gray area for someone used to things being black or white. But I sure would LOVE the opportunity to learn to live with other poeple. But I dont want to have sex with everyone. That always seems to end up being a problem in "Communal" living. idk guyz....

Its not quite beer, they make it out of fermented mash, kinda like vodka but to my understanding much weaker... but if its not hash, whats it gonna be? I think its relative. I mean they dont call everyone smokin in widely used areas drug addicts, its just the norm. It seems its just a label because they are a small group and it distinguishes them.... very cool either way. and honestly, Id eat my own leg if it meant surviving and seeing my grandchildren grow, so why not someone elses... Its like a mating ritual: can I eat your flesh when you die? nah, you taste like chicken and I like beef. Gonna have to pass on your dowry, thank you. hahah ... Glad u dont mind my 2 cents...
"If you don't like my two cents, then give me change!" Ha! Just made that up. lol
