How Bad Does Pastuerized Horse Shit Smell?

After pastuerization, how much will one's kitchen reek? For how long? Does the amount of smell differ when using a microwave compared to an oven?

To me, it smells "Earthy".  Its not a "Bad" smell at all  IMO.
