i have gotten superior results by using a tea made from river water and manures. i get my water from a nearby river, toss in a handful of composted manure, soak 24 hrs., strain & boil.
then use it as the water for making the cakes. they luv it!------------------

The PF race is a tough S.O.B..,the only one i have seen 'invitro pin'! Once you see the 'pins' through jar, upon rhizomorhic growth ,birth immediately! I have had great luck w/ pond/lake water. I read all this shit abbout distilled h20 and Spring h20, but when it comes to the nut-cuttin I like the natural..Adios!

 Thanks Hip! I have a local stream but I live in the city, hence YUK! Likely all kinds of polution in the water. Think what I'll do is buy some poo make some compost and use that. Now the next BIG question. What to tell the wife while I'm brewing poo tea in her kitchen! LOL
