1. Can a cake survive being dunked for 49 hours? hehe oops
2. If I soaked Penningtons WBS for 2 hours and rinsed real well because the water was black, how much bird seed and water should I put into each Quart jar? I know there are many teks but I also know that a lot of people use this bird seed and I wanted to know what the results have been in what WBS/Water ratio...
3. I have 50/50 casing, should i sterilize the casing material or paesturize? Pot or microwave?
4. (funny curiosity that I wouldnt really have a need to do because I have enough jars to play with but I would like to know) Can you inoculate a grain jar with cakes that have already flushed once or twice? If piece is dunked in H202 for 20 min ??
5. can pollyfill puffs be too big or is it ok if they are a bit big on the jars?
OK I dont think that i have anymore stupid questions for today, thanks in advance for anyone who answers this

1. I don't know, but there's only one way to find out.
2. You should've soaked it for much longer, say 24-48 hours. Then drain and rinse for 1/2 an hour. After the birdseed has drained, you can just load it into jars and not add any more water.
3. I've done both, but I say pasteurize. I'd do it in a pillow case in a pot, but you can bake it in the oven or nuke it in the microwave.
4. I don't know, but I don't see why not. (I've never tried it and I may be way wrong)
5. Polyfil Puffs? yo no se. I've never heard of them. look here, maybe it will help
Good luck

Is there any way that I could just simmer to get the water to absorb, because my jars are starting to grow invitro and I need to hurry with the grain jars to get them going.
