check out http://nodaddy.com/ and http://www.webhostingjury.com/reviews/Go_Daddy
i still fail to see how an alexa ranking is relevant at all to how good/reputable a hosting company is. you do know how easily those rankings are manipulated right?
all i'm saying is that there are much better companies out there to work with if you're running any serious, substantial web business. godaddy and the like are great for beginners, people making their first website..
Dude r you stupid? that whois protection runs $9 a year with godaddy.... $9!! ur complaining about that?
U know what alexa rankings are rite? they tell u how popular a site is in the world.
Alexa rankings are not easily manipulated anymore (they fixd all that)
Godaddy gets like 15 million hits a day... do u think they got there with shitty service, or with good service?

namecheap provides free whois protection for a year while godaddy doesn't. not to mention namecheaps protection is less than $3 a year per domain. but godaddy is the best right??
i have been doing internet marketing for 9-10 years man.. i'm not going to argue with you anymore, this is pointless. think what you want, it doesn't matter to me. it's your money and your business.

Thanks for all the advice guys,
I got this today, they e-mailed me, I'm not sure to join or not?

Hi,
I'm going to be brief and straight to the point.
I can list your website in our search engine for free with static links to your website. With thousands of our pages indexed by Google and Yahoo!, you will get lots of in-bound links to your content pages from relevant search results. These are the example of pages our users benefit from (just examples, your site will be listed in pages relevant to your content):
http://search.expo-max.com/travel/ http://search.expo-max.com/upcoming-dvd-releases/
As part of this program, I will also track your site's ranking and traffic and generate reports, so you always know how your website is ranked in every search engine for every search term.
This is how our Real Analytics program works: it tracks your website's traffic and ranking stats, and then uses this collected data to generate search engine results, giving our users free links (and some traffic). Also, you can continue using your current stat tools as well, as many of our users do.
This program is provided free of charge, not some limited time free trial, so you can take advantage of it for as long as you wish. Why free? We have other programs that involve payments. We've calculated that about 5% of our Analytics users engage in those, so while the program I described is free, we gain you as a potential client in the future.
Here are some screen shots and demo:
View screen shots: http://expo-max.com/screenshots/ Try live demo: http://expo-max.com/analytics/demo/
Here's how to get started (you don't need a credit card):
1. Create a free account at https://expo-max.com/account/signup/ 2. Once you're in the control panel, click Analytics from the menu on the left 3. Click Add Website button under the table and follow instructions
For detailed setup instructions you can refer to our documentation: http://expo-max.com/documentation/analytics/setup/
Once your site is being tracked, it will start appearing in our search results as soon as enough information is gathered.
Please let me know how it works out or if you need my help.
Is this a trick or something useful to me?

That's all about backlinks and shit. I wouldnt fuck around with that cuz your site might be left out of google's index because they ignore link farming things like these
I never got into backlinks and link exchanging cuz its boring and a waste of time, but You should only exchange backlinks with sites you personaly look over, with a high google Page Rank so yours will get higher.
Generally, the point is that people find your content useful, and will post it on things like social bookmarks like Digg, or forums which will direct people to your site without any effort from you at all. Google recognizes links to your site from websites with a high Page Rank, and assigns your site a page rank based on a formula of the number of sites and page ranks of said sites which link to your site. The page rank determines the order in which your site appears in searches.
