I think i should be casing it in the next 2 days?any thoughts?
Maybe leave it for longer.Cant seem to find a good picture of when its ready to case.

Well i thought it could be time to case so i got her out the black bag for a look

It was pretty much fully colinized apart from the far corner furthest from the air filter.

So i cased it with 50vermiculite/50 multi purpose compost with 2 hand fulls of
crushed oyster shell.That was microwaved for 6 mins on full in one min intervals.

After casing i sprayed it with water until flat and put it back into the bin bag with chop sticks in the corners to hold the bag above the surface.I think i should leave it like this for 4 days then cold shock.What do you all think?

That sounds good!!

Looks like your casing is going faster than mine....for all you casers out there it is definately better to mix your spawn with the bulk substrate instead of layering it.....but i guess thats just common sense.

Cool, it wont be long now!

BTW, which strain was that? and do ya want to trade a print when itfruits?
(i have EQ, TP, GC, B+, KS in various stages...)

Its going to be golden teacher :smile: and id love to trade something what are TP, GC, KS  as i have b+ and eQ i really wont something from australia :smile: but i can wait.

lol :tongue: casing colinized well and yesterday i cold shocked and birthed the beast.
Had to patch the casing a bit due to some overlay but all is well.
Hoping for pins in the next 2 days so ill post some pictures when they show themselves.

about 2 cm but the surface wasnt very flat so i suppose that goes as deep as 5 cm in the dips and edges.

i was also thinking in the same line as SixCee, using popcorn that is.....sterilizing using the microwave tek!
This is a stupid question but wouldnt the popcorn kernels pop and make ...welll......uhmmmm, POPCORN? lol

Ganja, when u steamed the jarz for 1 hour after micrwaving it , how much water was in the pot.....i mean
how deep did the water go up the jar and im assuming it was a light boil for 1 hour???

I think im gonna try what u did but un4tunately i only have spray millet so
im gonna have to break up those suckers into lil individual pieces :frown:
