misting casing layer?
    #1215753 - 01/13/03 08:47 PM (15 years, 4 months ago)

Curious about how much/often to mist a casing layer that's 100% verm. I've read a lil bit in tmc that it should be watered from 2-4 days after mycellium has established a hold on the casing layer to give casing layer optimal water retention. But how do i know if i over water any signs to look for since potential overwatering could damage myc and make it refuse to fruit?

Prohibition will work great injury to the cause of temperance. It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation, and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A Prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded.

Dont mist until the verm falls out of place when you give it a little shake. It is very easy to over water, especially vermiculite since it is so hard to tell if it is properly staurated. About one or two mists a day is fine. Of course it all depends on how big your casing is.
