What God Is * 1
    #1215090 - 01/13/03 03:07 PM (21 years, 2 months ago)

The Will, the desire, the thirst to exist, to continue, to become more and more... This tremendous force moves whole lives, whole existences, the entire universe.

It continues to manifest itself in infinite forms, infinite vantage points of perception to experience every aspect of itself. It does this through the process of rebirth or 'shedding skin', which is a symbol for the destruction of itself. This process is proof to me of a perpetual rebirth of the universe, some would call reincarnation. But that term is widely misunderstood, I think... Reincarnation is merely the infinite expression of God... There is no soul but the All. Anything else is a projection of the ego, or 'false self'.

Do you want to know what this force looks like?
Well, we see it as Light.
We hear it as Sound.
We feel it pulsing in all areas of our bodies, but centered in our Hearts...

This is God.

Oh, and I forgot to mention The Void... Silly me.

The Void is the Great Sustainer.

To clarify a bit: post number 1 is Hadit, post number 2 is Nuit.

Hadit also goes by the label Lucifer, the originator of Time itself..
Nuit is what is known as Space. She is the Void, the Tao, the Way, The Abyss...

These archetypes of this Universe together is 'All That Is'... not just existence, but un-existence as well. The male and the female, as the collective consciousness of the human race is starting to realize once again. We were alienated from Death as a society for a long time because it was hidden by Materialism, but the Archaic Revival is now speaking, and we are shedding our collective skin to realize that Death is a transition, not an end. Your Body Is Not You.

You cannot worship life without worshiping death. Silly fundamentalists.

Old Turtle would say, "God is."

I think that just about sums it up.

I've recently started understanding that God is the collective scource of all the energy in the universe. Since everything contains traces of energy, especially living things, we all are a part of our "God". Since energy cannot be created nor destroyed, we are all eternal and God is eternal. Light is energy and god has often been described as a devine light. When our bodies decease, I believe that we rejoin this collective light and live eternal. That's just what I think anyways.

God, in my aquired understanding,is a creator. That is the nature of God.That is why we are driven to create.I believe we were created in Gods image. But believing that does not neccasarily mean I am religious! When God spoke things into existance,Faith was needed. We have an opportunity to aquire God like faith by believing in something we cannot see. Then we can move on to become creators.

When you understand the nature of light, I think you gain insights into the nature of God.

The Archaic Revival is not an 'Age of Enlightenment', nor is such an age even possible by traditional definitions of the word "enlightenment". There is no absolute enlightenment... The only thing close would be in The Void, which by definition does not exist. In the world of Light (and thus Time), however, "enlightenment" is an eternal process in which we each play a role in.

Hope that clarifies my meaning a bit.

In a very limited sense. Actually , we are more like manipulaters than creators at this point. We have the potential!

If you can't picture God in a human body

Why should we picture God in a human body?

The only "body" that I can picture for God is the universe itself.
