Extracting goodness from failed cakes (cranberry)? Worth it?

My first set of cakes are ready to fruit, and I'm planning to birth them when I get home. My question is about my 4 failed cakes. 3 of them have just stopped growing for some reason, the are half or a little more colinized. I was wondering if it'd be worth my while to try the cranberry extraction on these failed cakes instead of throwing them out, so I could get a buzz on this weekend, since I won't have any fruits by then. Also I have a nice looking fully colinized cake with a tiny spot of mold on it that it just developed in the past couple days, its a nasty blue looking mold. If I cut that bit out, could I also add this to the mixture? Would all of these together give me a decent trip?

Would you eat a moldy peice of bread if you cut the mold off? Your gross. Try and salvage the cake

heyman do a search for alchole extraction. I heard it makes amber crystals

hah, if I needed food bad enough I would. Sorry for the dumb question, but how would I go about salvaging the cake?
