I use a similar system from X-10 but it has a computer interface so u don't have to do all the work

http://www.x10.com/products/x10_ck11a.htm#

I also have the phone in attatchment so i can call home and turn on and off anything I need to (like shutting down my humidifier when mom decides she's gonna stop in to do a house cleaning so she won't wonder what the sound from the locked fridge is)

Which reminds me...

I have a bunch of bits and pieces that I don't use... I think I'll see if anyone wants to trade for them.

The software is actually pretty good for them. You can run up to 16 devices and put them all on seperate times for minutes, hours, or days.

I was given a shitload of the remotes and plug ins and even things u screw into a light socket so that u can use it with a dimmer when my uncle closed his computer store. For a while there everyone who stopped in and tried to use the big universal remote i have to watch TV thought the house was haunted because the lights and the stereo and all kinds of shit would turn on and off. lol

It's damn fun stuff to have when everyone's stoned at ur house
