i know lighting is not a very big deal but i was just wondering what others thought of using those blue plant lights from grocery stores (the ones that dont work for shit when growing normal plants) i read somewhere that mushrooms like blue light , so would this be idea lighting?

Not necessarily stoned, but beautiful

Sure lighting would be a good idea. I think blue lighting makes a difference but a miniscule one at that.

my casings currently get all their lighting from light that gets under the closet doors. The casings used to get light from christmas tree lights, but they stopped working. I have seen absolutely no change in yields/potency/shape/size of mushrooms. So I wouldn't worry about it.

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S.
