Yeah. That was a trip to AZ. I was amazed the first time I spotted one given my love for cacti. Then I started seeing them in flower and the fascination was reborn. The entire trip, I was intrigued by the locations that the cacti would choose to begin growing. I found a decent stand of triglochidiatus right at the edge of a 20 foot cliff. I also saw some mammillarias I believe, which I did not get to identify and some argemone polyanthemos. Unfortunately, I did not get picture of the latter. Mirabilis Multiflora seemed to be pretty prevalent too. I think every hike I did took me twice as long because I had to stop and take pictures of every plant I saw.

Nice Euphorbia. They have cool trunks and the flowers are also pretty different.
@blazed123: Arizona seems to be one of the places to be if you're a cactophile. I bet it would of been a great place to visit.

Yes, definitely. I made sure to stop by a nursery while I was there. For anyone that wasn't aware, they allow you to bring plants on the plane during domestic flights.

There is hardly any in my area, but I have noticed they are becoming more popular in nurseries within the last year or so. Its pretty crazy how in one country a plant seems so common but the complete opposite in others. Like acacia's..... I couldn't believe it when I found out what the bark contained, and I've been around an abundance of them in my suburb for years

Breaking News....
It's about to flower again.

I don't really like A. ritteri, they looks like a dinosaur's asshole. Actually, they have grown on me.

Haha lucky bastard, I think I may see some buds forming on mine, but it's too early to tell.
They certainly are unique looking, but that's what makes 'em special

LoL.
Those flowers you posted are fairly tall compared to most I've seen, which is a cool thing. Nice plant, if you don't want it you know where to send it.

Lophophora williamsii

I tried to cross pollinate them, let's hold fingers for success...
