I don't know what people think of my avatar, but I picked it because it spoke to me and I felt like I could relate to it in some way. I am guessing that everyone picks their avatar for a reason so I do incooperate their avatar into what kind of idea I have in my head about them. Avatars are one of the first things you notice about someone when you encounter them, so I do think what people choose as a avatar does matter.

Your avatar influenced the visuals of one of my shroom trips. I spent a while staring at it before, then I had the same eyes everywhere, hahaha.
It was creepy.
Now I have an evil-eye warder offer.
Only third eyes need apply.

I think it depends on the person; it's the same as someone picking out a user/display name. Some people choose a name that they either created or altered to personalize it with a unique background that they feel defines or relates to them. Some choose names referencing characters/entities supporting their like for them. Others have the I don't give a fuck name that is open to anything and everything. I'm sure there are other reasonings out there, but you get the gist of what I'm saying ; )

Mine? Fear and Loathing! Why? It's chill. It's funny. I'm lazy. Next time I draw something I might make it my avatar!

LogicaL Chaos said: That's fine. No reason to change your sig and avatar because one person is having CPU overload problems. You just gotta know that I can't read your posts anymore: uses too much power, causes too much lag for me.
That's cool with you right? I mean, I think this is the first time we've had a conversion....and it looks like it will be the last.

Wow, that's really thoughtful: a small form of self-sacrafice....I'm moved by it.
Come to think about it, I was on the brink of ignoring for likely the strangest reason for ignoring a person: excessive computer lag from their signature.
But I would of felt so bad because I don't like to ignore people, no matter how disrepectful they are to me or other users. I believe in the best of people, an optimist, and believe that most people have good in them at some people, and you just proved that GeorgieBoy.
Thank you.
As for your cool video, why don't you make a slide-show version? Instead of smooth video, make a stop-motion version, with single photos of key parts played in sequence, that still provides all the context, but isn't CPU-heavy like a 60-frame-per-second video was. A compromise for your noble gesture?
If you make a slide-show version, let me know and I'll test in on my PC and see what it does to my CPU. If its all good, then we everybody wins!
