Hey everyone. I am new to the forum and want to post something  Has any one viewing this post ever found any magic mushrooms in or near Michigan. I found a source that listed Two psilocybe types that could be found here. Just wondering if anyone has ever gotten high of michigan mushies.

the gyms can be found in good numbers throughout the early fall and spring rains. you won't be able to find anything yet untill it's well above frezing.
btw, what part of mi are you in?

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it.
If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

Southeast. A couple of weeks ago (just before christmas) it warmed up to about 60 degrees for a couple of days. It rained alot and alot of little brown mushies popped up near my house. I took a spore print and looked them up. I think they were some type of galerina(?).The prints were beige. They grew near a bunch of dead wood.I'm new to this and am just starting to learn.Casing some thai today!I would like to hunt some this spring. Are the ones that grow around here any good?
