California Propositions...what will you vote on?

Goddamn there is alot props this election. Anyway here are the statewide ones I care about the most:
1A:This doesn't allow the state legislator to borrow money from transportation funds to balance the budget. I'm for it, the transportation in CA is underfunded as it is with the overcrowded freeways and no descent public transportion to speak of.
1b: This allows the state to borrow alot of money to upgrade transportation NOW. 25% of it goes to LA county. Hopefully (and likely) they will extend some of the local rail lines with that cash. Good enough for me, you know how shitty it is to not have a car in LA?
85: Forces under-18 girls to notify their parents of their abortion. Fuck that. Extra law with no point. This is pro-life by proxy
86: puts like $2.50 a pack tax on cigs to fund hospitals. That raises cigarettes like by 30%. I don't smoke but this state punishes smokers enough. Hurts small business. Fuck this prop, lets tax pharm companies instead or buy our drugs from canada (except their weed..CA bud>BC bud)
87: Taxes oil companies who drill oil from california and funds alternative energy research with the money. Every major oil producing state in the nation taxes them, including TX. CA doesn't. I don't care if it raises gas prices or not. The measure forbids companies to raise gas prices because of it but they can price gas however they want. BUt its time to stick it to Exxon. Some money, any money going to alternative energy is a good start. Especially at the oil companies' dime. Everybody has to vote for this one.
89: This gives public money to canidates who don't accept private financing. This is a great prop for 3rd parties b/c it levels the playing field in local elections...we gotta start somewhere...vote for this one...fuck the republican$, fuck the democrat$

Im in Arizona. I have to say for 85 parents definitely have the right to know what is going on in there under-18 children's life (male or female)
In Arizona we have a whole host of propositions- Gay Marriage Ban - Im not voting on this
Two competing smoking bans - voting no on both of these
Raise the minimum wage - voting no
Better conditions for pigs raised for slaughter - voting yes
Create a lottery where one voter wins a million dollars - hell no
English as official language - voting yes
Deny in-state tuition to illegal immigrants - yes (my close friend is an illegal immigrant from ireland, hes in the physics program at my university but I still have to vote with my conscious)
Those are most the big one...

I agree with you and for a long time I always decided that this was a logical thing to do. I never bought into that whole "abusive parents" shtick really--thats a knee jerk reaction by pro-choicers by pointing out a 1 in a million extreme exception which could easily be writtin into this or any law forcing parental notification. What changed my mind on this is I just don't want the government forcing any doctor's hand. They are there to perform abortions, not play tattle tale

I read about that one the other day and at first thought it was a joke. ITs like the dumbest thing I've ever heard. There are alot of things AZ could do with that extra million instad of giving it away.
Isn't there also a pot initiative in AZ this year? I thought they were trying to decriminalize possession or something.

Just to minimize mentioning scandalous names, let me give you my insight about bankruptcy, instead. Many of the Americans who have had been burdened with unsecured debts and were not able to pay off debts have found assistance from the Cambridge Credit Counseling Corporation professionals. Ok, remind me not to patronize Cambridge Credit Counseling for awhile – or at least until the lawsuit they are in the middle of is over. The debt management/credit counseling company is getting sued by the state of Illinois, and the Attorney General alleges a conflict of interest. It isn't likely to send them running for bankruptcy protection or corporate payday loans – usually these kind of lawsuits result in a few changes to company policies, and that's about it. But still – it doesn't look too well on them, but then again, I imagine that every company gets sued by someone at some point or another.
