Well today is 30 days since I started my grow, turns out the thermometer I used was off, and I was cooking them at 103 degrees. Some terrible shit. Anyways im making another attempt in the upcoming days, and was wondering if there where any suggestion as to how to lower the heat?, im using a heatpad. Its already set on low, and I have bought a thermometer that actually works.

This happened to me too... towel layers as said ^^^^ will work fine. I was able to maintain a steady 85-86 degrees that way with my walgreens heating pad.

dont use a heating pad. They always get too hot. buy a fish tank heater with a dial on it that lets you set the temp. you dont even need any source of heat though.. mushies will grow fine in anything above 70 degrees.. just grows faster if it's warmer.. but it wont grow at all if u cook em. peace

A glass jar, and a 100w aquarium heater are all I use to keep my tupperware tub at a steady 82.5 degree's...the only draw back is that it take's up some space in the tub...hope you get your setup working tiptop blade, peace...

Thanks for all the response's everyone. I'm gonna try the Towel-Tek, maybe a couple layers of carboard. I dont really have the space for a water tank heater. My next grow is imperitive to the life of a dying strain, so I to hope to get things in tip-top shape.

ok ill explain more... basically u got to keep a watch on it till u got it right. get a timer plug it in to heat pad place in the designated place let it run till right temp. calculate time it took adjust timer acordingly find out how long it takes before it needs to be started back up. either that or fry ure shit any clearer??? i bet the towel idea would be better though. yes u can get a fish heater, but i think u wanted an answer not a alternativee right?

The strain is the PF Strophoria strain. PF has discontinued carrying the strain or any strain other than the PF Classic for that matter. I havnt been able to find this strain on any other spore vendor sites, so this is probably the only attempt I'll ever have at growing this strain.
